Tubalange basic school was built in the 1970s, by the Zambian government. It offers basic education to the children and youths of Chiwirizano, Chikondano, Tubalange, Kasupe and part of Yengayenga village.
We started Easter celebrations on Holy Thursday, with father Kizito repeating the Last Supper here at Mthunzi, and washing the feet of the 12 disciples.

As usual, during school time the volume of activities at Mthunzi has reduced because some boys are in boarding school and all are busy with study.

Production in our garden and orchard is going on well, and now we are planting new crops like maize, impwa, eggplants and sweet potatoes.

Five Mthunzi boys - James, Gideon, Ricky, Rabson and Stanley - were involved in a road accident that claimed the lives of two of their schoolmates.
Mthunzi boys are seriously struggling to improve their education, since they are aware that their future depends on it.
In order to improve our diet and to spend less money buying food, the Mthunzi boys have started an active involvement in farming.
Last year, there was an outcry because of the poor performance of many Mthunzi boys in school. Some improvement was seen during the past school term, and on closing day, the deputy head teacher of Tubalange Primary School praised the achievement and encouraged us to continue improving.
