New Farming Activities at Mthunzi
In order to improve our diet and to spend less money buying food, the Mthunzi boys have started an active involvement in farming.
We have put under cultivation one hectare of land, planting maize (for production of cobs for roasting or boiling), Chinese cabbages, sweet potatoes, rape and tomatoes. We have already been able to eat some of our farm produce, and we hope to reach a stage when we will not have to buy any vegetables from outside.
