Improvement of School Performance
Last year, there was an outcry because of the poor performance of many Mthunzi boys in school. Some improvement was seen during the past school term, and on closing day, the deputy head teacher of Tubalange Primary School praised the achievement and encouraged us to continue improving.
The Education and Religious Formation committee at Mthunzi has recommended to have Mr. Himachila, a good local teacher, to offer tuition every afternoon to students who will sit for examinations at the end of this year.
Meanwhile, Katebe and Joseph - the two Mthunzi boys who wrote their grade seven examinations last November - have both passed and have been selected to join junior secondary school. Those who wrote their grade ten exams are still waiting for their results to be released.
