Recent Events at Mthunzi
As usual, during school time the volume of activities at Mthunzi has reduced because some boys are in boarding school and all are busy with study.
The few activities we have had between January and the end of March have included acrobatics, cultural dances and football.
We had a retreat from the evening of the 3rd of April till the morning of the 5th. Many people attended, including the Home Based children, the Community members and the Mthunzi residents boys. We were about 120, and there were four people facilitating the retreat.
On March 12th we also celebrated the Youth Day here at Mthunzi, with many young people coming from our neighborhood. We participated in games, listened to speeches, shared food and prayed to God for all of us to grow into good people. It was very nice to share happiness with many friends.
