School Achievements
Mthunzi boys are seriously struggling to improve their education, since they are aware that their future depends on it.
Recently, a few boys who sat for grade nine examination passed very well and this brought happiness to the whole Mthunzi family. Now there are 38 boarders, or students who attend boarding schools far from Mthunzi. Schools will be closed from April 9 till May 7 and now most students are back at the Centre, waiting for the results of their mock examinations. Those attending grade nine are offered some extra lessons, while those attending grade twelve – the final year of secondary school - will all go to Chongwe high school for special tuition. They want to achieve high marks when they will do their final exams in November.
