Comboni Missionary Father Renato Kizito Sesana is a communicator. He has edited two magazines, set up a radio station, published a few books and has been collaborating with various publications, radios and televisions. Recently, he became a blogger. But all these activities have always coexisted with field work. His involvement with the media goes hand-in-hand with the causes to which he has been dedicating his life, especially the youth and the street children. His ultimate aim is to make the Gospel relevant in the different circumstances of life.
On June 28th 2008 a memorial for migrants who have over the years lost their lives at sea while attempting to gain entry into Italy and the European mainland will be unveiled in the Mediterranean island of Lampedusa.
Amani, Arnoldo Mosca Mondadori, Alternativa Giovani and Koinonia Community wish to launch a proposal to the Italian society and the European institutions with regard to the realization of a memorial for migrants who have lost their lives at sea over the years.
June 16th 2008: Creative, well rehearsed performances staged by children from Koinonia’s Ndugu Mdogo and Anita Homes enthralled attendees at the 2008 International Day of the African Child celebrations held at Isinya, Kajiado district.
Sunday, May 25, 2008: Members of the Koinonia family joined 21 boys from Ndugu Mdogo in celebrating their baptism.
May 14th 2008: A new ultra-modern Information Technology lab was officially inaugurated at the Domus Mariae School in a brief ceremony graced by the Italian Embassy Commercial Attaché, Mr. Gian Carlo Culazzo.

A Youth Open Day Forum organized by Africa Peace Point, Koinonia Community, Kutoka Network, RSCK, KCS, Comboni and Consolata Missionaries and MAFRI was held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at the City Council Grounds in Dagoretti, Nairobi. This is an account of the event.
A Youth Open Forum Day will he held on May 3, 2008 at Nairobi’s Jamhuri Park grounds. A collaboration between Africa Peace Point and various religious, civil society and grassroots organizations, the event seeks to offer Kenya’s young people an opportunity to express themselves in view of the country’s recent post-election violence
