RADIO WAUMINI TRAINING CENTRE
Radio Waumini Training Centre is a college of Communications within its premises for those aspiring to be journalists.
The college opened its doors in 2006 and the first intake brought together 6 students from Kenya, Sudan and Liberia.
The second intake had 7 students from Nakuru, Kisumu, and Nyahururu dioceses, who successfully graduated with a diploma in August 7, 2007, after 12 weeks of intensive training in Radio Journalism.
The students have access to Radio Waumini state-of-the-art studios and facilities, and produce programs for broadcasting.
The objectives of the college are to give on hands experience in radio.
