Tone La Maji Staff Mt. Kenya Experience

A glimpse of what transpired when Tone la Maji staffers took it to Mt. Kenya

Guion (1965) defines I-O psychology as "the scientific study of the relationship between man and the world of work... in the process of making a living"

Industrial-organizational psychologists, applies psychology to organizations and the workplace which contribute to an organization's success by improving the performance and well-being of its people.

Having this in mind Tone la Maji staff had a successful trip to Mt Kenya where we kept aside all, this include Family and work responsibility and only teambuilding concept was adopted in this trip. The journey started as an idea from the top leadership of tone la Maji where many staff expressed interest and commitment by contributing towards financing the trip to Mt Kenya. On 27th august 2010 we started from TLM to Mt Kenya with a purpose of team building.

Nine kilometers from Naro moru main gate we had our first camping experience 3040 meters (10,000fit) high altitude.  After dinner sharing of word of God, views about personal pilgrimage, staff unity and teambuilding.

The second day we stated the hiking with an expectation to  hit the highest point 19 kilometers long 4,300 meters altitude we reached Mackinders camping site 4 kilometers away from the highest peak (Lenana point) where the Katiba was kept.
