Getting Ready for the Rains
Boys from Tone la Maji go on a fruit planting mission in anticipation of the coming rains.

Tone la Maji is situated in a small beautiful valley but at times the slope is too steep which makes cultivation difficult. In order to prevent soil erosion, especially in view of the foreseen very heavy rainy season ahead, On Saturday 12 September the boys from Tone la Maji planted several fruit trees , among them 30 avocado trees. They have also embarked an ambitious project to terrace the vegetable garden. We certainly do not know how long this project will take but one thing that we are sure of is that everyone is concerned and willing to help including the youngest boy Hesborn.
