Mthunzi Boys Shine at the Lubuto Library
The Mthunzi boys recently visited the Lubuto Library at the Fountain of Hope Centre in Lusaka, Zambia.
The Lubuto Library is one among a million libraries the UN is trying to build globally. A hundred libraries will be built in Zambia, ten of them located in Lusaka.
The boys visit the Lubuto Library every Saturday. While there, they are divided into separate groups. Each group is required to pick a book, read it and come up with a poem or skit from the book.
During one of these group competitions on September 26, the Mthunzi boys were voted the most disciplined. One of them, Alex, was crowned the best actor.
Among their competitors were YOFOSO, ZANCOB and AATAZ. At the end of the competition, everyone received a book as a gift for the good job they had done.
