March 30: Former president Daniel arap Moi launches the Moi Africa Institute, a regional peace initiative.
March 31: President Kibaki meets minister Raila Odinga and Kiraitu Murungi to reach a consensus on the Bomas Draft.
April 2: Raila and Kiraitu agree to solve their differences over the constitutional review.
April 3: Opinion poll shows minister Kalonzo Musyoka as the favourite presidential candidate in 2007.
April 4: NARC summit decides that the party membership remains corporate and not individual as demanded by some party stalwarts.
