Kenya: MRM Revamps Mombasa Customer Service Centre into a One Stop Shop

In addition to getting MRM products, the Service Centre will stock relevant accessories as well as offer you the expert service that will help you shop efficiently and economically.

Mombasa ……… “All at one shop” is the new customer service model at Mabati Rolling Mills (MRM) after launching a new Service Centre in Mombasa last week.

Whether an individual or professional in housing, MRM will be able to guide you as well as deliver on time your customized  roofing solution.

In addition to getting MRM products, the Service Centre will stock relevant accessories as well as offer you the expert service that will help you shop efficiently and economically.

The  new outfit promises its customers is timely delivery with almost no waste, simply interpreted as value for your money.

Dr Manu Chandaria, the Chairman of the group, who opened the new centre spelt out that the company’s vision to deliver quality roofing solutions in every town in Kenya. He noted that the company has put in place an aggressive expansion programme that will ensure that all Kenyans have quality roofs over their heads.

Mr. Sarit Shah, a Director of the company, noted that customers will receive maximum satisfaction from shopping at the Mombasa centre. To quote him, he said Mombasa Service Centre will be tosha! “Tosha because when you walk  in here  your roofing needs will be assimilated and with modern technology, your roofing designs and BQ’s determined  giving you total solutions.... We will also offer you the services of our   MRM certified fundis to do your work.... All at our service centre”

In his speech Mr. Mahesh Chadwa, the COO of MRM, noted that the ultimate yardstick by which they must measure their efforts is the extent to which they promote sustained economic growth and development, create jobs and improve the lives of the masses.  He added “Success is not always  measured by the size of operations but more at the ultimate satisfaction of the customers we serve. Let me confirm that today our Mombasa customers are gaining an asset which has great potential to take us forward in that direction”.

MRM has swiftly responded to construction industry needs that have come with  a surge in construction that the country has experienced in the last couple of years in addition to offering roofing solutions under one roof, MRM also see the need to increase efficiency levels while serving its customers.  

 MRM aims are to make its popular brands available in every little township and the process of procuring its products simplified through the Service Centres. The existence of the Centres countrywide will entrench the belief  that MRM is truly a local, successful company that is bringing quality and lasting roofing solutions to the people.

Mabati successfully launched a Service Centre in Kisumu last year November and upon whose success they today   launch a similar outfit in Mombasa offering clients in that region complete roofing solutions.

MRM plans to open two more service Centres in the coming year. MRM intends to create 200 jobs through the opening of Service Centres countrywide.
