South Sudan: In Search for Education
Since the era of the Condominium rule in the Sudan, Southern Sudan has never had an educational system that was expansive, relevant and which targets its needs. For most of the years, the educational system served aimed to produce junior public servants and also made a few of the people literate in indigenous languages. After independence, Ngo’s have strived to bring comprehensive education to the grassroots and empowerment programs to keep the southerners enlighten.
