Kenya: Unraveling the Plight of Street Children

Koinonia Action for Peace (KAP), which is an initiative of Koinonia Community based in Nairobi-Kenya, has been promoting sustainable peace activities in local communities in Kenya. KAP took to the street for the past four months empowering the street children on their rights based on the new constitution of which they are still reaching out to more vulnerable groups. This are aims to enable the youth to be protagonist of their lives. The organization operates with the aim of reducing the various forms of conflict among marginalized groups through empowerment programs that enhance a peaceful transformation of our society.
