Cameroon Endeavors To Wipe Out Corruption
The Cameroon government is set to fight corruption to curb the country huge economic losses.
In its steps to kill the scourge, more than 100 former ministers, public administrators and state corporation managers, have been arrested for misusing national resources.
To assist in eradicating corruption the government has established a National Anti-Corruption Commission and the National Agency for Financial Investigation to identify suspects and hand them over to the courts for trial.
Experts attribute the slow growth and lack of investments to corruption and suggest that the existing regulations for customs and investments be improved.
