Guinea: Mediation talks kick off
Mediation talks between the Military junta and other political groups in Guinea commenced on Tuesday in Ouagadougou with President Blaise Compaore of Bukina Faso as the chair person.
The talks are aimed at resolving the political crisis that resulted in the killing of pro-democracy protestors in Guinea. The talks will also seek to discuss Captain Camara's departure from power due to international pressure against his government
President Compaore who has also mediated peace talks in Cote D'Ivoire, urged the West African States to help resolve the crisis in Guinea.
