Mugabe Accuses Tsvangirai of Being Disloyal to the Coalition Goverment.

HARARE, Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe has accused Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and his Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) of being disloyal in the unity government.

During the launch of ZANU-PF Central Committee’s 78th ordinary session, President Mugabe said that he won’t allow MDC’s "disengagement" from the government affect its operations.

"We must no longer trust those who pretend to be in the inclusive Government and have jumped in and out of it. We thought we are together in the inclusive Government, but they run to their European friends and run a parallel government and this is objectionable." Mugabe was quoted in the state-run newspaper the Herald.

He attributed the slow economic revival process to the ongoing sanctions, blaming the MDC leader for evidently asking for the impediment to subsist.

"The three representatives of the EU who came to Zimbabwe were told not to lift the sanctions now,” He said.

Tsvangirai mid last month relegated from the unity government over intimidation of its party members by ZANU-PF and dishonoring of the power-sharing pact by President Mugabe. [ER].
