Guinea: African Union to impose sanctions against captain Camara
The African Union has decided to impose unspecified sanctions against Captain Moussa Dadis Camara in October if his intentions for presidency are not clear.
The African Union peace and Security Council is giving the Captain one month to reveal his intentions failure to which will lead to the imposition of the sanctions.
However, supporters of Guinea's ruling military council say that the sanctions threatened by the African Union are unfair.
Captain Camara has not officially stated his candidacy, but he has told supporters that he will not offend them by ignoring their demands. [GR]
