Three African countries have banned all Chinese milk products after tainted milk killed four babies in China and left over 6000 others down with food poisoning. On Sunday, Burundi became the third African nation to ban the Chinese products, one day after Tanzania and Gabon announced a similar ban. The Burundian trade ministry released a statement directing all retailers to stop selling the products until a government investigation was completed. [PE]
