Rwanda’s ruling party has won a resounding majority in this week’s parliamentary elections, the country’s electoral commission chairman Chrysologue Karangwa announced Tuesday. The results show that President Paul Kagame's Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) took 42 of the Rwandan parliament’s 53 seats, leaving a mere seven seats for the Social Democratic Party and four for the Liberal Party.
