12 Killed In New Algeria Bomb Attack
Two separate car bombs killed 12 people in Bouira, Eastern Algeria, barely a day after 43 people died in a suicide bomb explosion. One bomb exploded in a passenger bus parked in front of a hotel in Bouira’s city centre, while the second one was detonated in a nearby military base. One day earlier on Tuesday, a suicide bomb claimed 43 lives in Issers, a town 60km East of Algiers. A militant group that that has staged several attacks in Algeria over the past year and claims to be Al-Qaeda’s Magreb wing is suspected to be behind the attacks.[PE]
