Spanish authorities have released Equatorial Guinea's opposition leader, who has been under detention since April for allegedly trying to ship arms to foment a coup in his home country. Severo Moto, who has lived in exile in Spain since 1986, was released on bail Monday after spending four months in jail. Moto was detained after he was linked to an illegal shipment of weapons, allegedly destined for Equatorial Guinea, that was impounded at the Spanish port of Sagunto last March.[PE]
