Gambia Arrests Alleged Guinea Bissau Coup Plotter

Gambian authorities on Tuesday arrested the alleged leader of plot to topple the Guinea-Bissau government, just one day after he sneaked into the country by sea. Guinea Bissau’s former navy chief, Rear Admiral Bubo Na Tchuto, entered Gambia after escaping from house arrest imposed on him last week for allegedly plotting to overthrow President João Bernardo Vieira.
