Mugabe, Tsvangirai to Discuss Power sharing next Sunday

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai will meet for final talks towards a unity government in Harare this coming Sunday, a South African newspaper has reported. According to the Business Day, South African leader Thabo Mbeki, who is mediating negotiations to resolve Zimbabwe’s political crisis, will also attend the meeting, where Mugabe and Tsvangirai are expected to fine-tune their power sharing formula. Mugabe's spokesman, George Charamba, has meanwhile dismissed speculation that a draft agreement had been reached as “utter nonsense”.[PE]
