Niger Delta Insecurity Faces Top Construction Firm to Pull Out

Nigeria's top construction firm, Julius Berger, is withdrawing its operations in the oil-rich Niger Delta because of rising insecurity. Senior company executives say the resumption of armed attacks by militant groups made it difficult to continue their operations and protect company employees. Last Friday, gunmen kidnapped two German employees of the firm and killed a government soldier who was with them. [P.E]
