South Sudanese MPs back Govt over Ugandan Rebels

South Sudanese lawmakers Monday resolved to back their government’s decision to give the rebel Ugandan Lords Resistance Army a chance to sign a peace deal with the Ugandan government instead of supporting an immediate military solution. South Sudan’s Parliamentary Speaker James Wani Igga read the resolution, which also urges the International Criminal Court to drop all charges it has preferred against LRA leader Joseph Kony.
