Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki Tuesday launched a much anticipated coalition government blueprint that seeks to transform Kenya into a second world economy by the year 2030.Dubbed ‘Vision 2030’, the blueprint is a hybrid between Kibaki’s PNU Alliance party manifesto, and that of its coalition partner, Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). The blueprint identifies agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, infrastructure and financial services as the drivers of the country’s targeted economic development. [PE]
