Somalia Facing Worst Crisis in 10 Years, Red Cross Says

International Committee of the Red Cross has described the current humanitarian crisis in Somalia as the war torn country’s worst in a decade. Red Cross official Pascal Hundt, who heads the international body’s delegation for Somalia, said the situation was particularly exacerbated by increased armed conflict, severe drought, a dire food shortage and global fuel price hikes.
