A United Nations Security Council will send a delegation to tour five turbulent African nations in order to obtain a first hand perspective into their intractable political crises. UN sources indicate that the delegation will kick off its 10-day tour with a visit to Djibouti, where talks between the interim Somali and its exiled Islamist rivals are underway, then visit Sudan's Darfur region, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast and Chad.
