Darfur Rebel Group Threatens Fresh Attack on Khartoum

Barely weeks after the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) rebels staged an unprecedented attack on Khartoum, another rebel group is planning to launch a fresh attack on the Sudanese capital. Darfur’s Sudan Liberation Movement-Unity (SLM-Unity) faction says it will rally other rebels groups into a coalition that will storm Khartoum and overthrow President Omar Hassan al-Bashir’s regime.
