The jailed leader of a notorious militia group wants to engage in direct talks with Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Mungiki leader Maina Njenga alleges that he has been holding secret consultations with the government through emissaries, but believes that direct dialogue with the Prime Minister will be more effectual.
