Mugabe Promises Land for Zimbabwean Returnees

Zimbabwean President Robert Sunday promised to give land to Zimbabwean refugees who will opt to return home from South Africa. Mugabe made the promise while launching his campaign for the impending presidential run-off election that will pit him against Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai. An estimated three million Zimbabweans live in South Africa, where they have been the primary targets in the recent attacks waged by poor South Africans against African migrants. [P.E]
