Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has ruled out any prospects of a blanket amnesty for suspected perpetrators of Kenya’s recent post election violence. Musyoka said the government would not release any suspects detained over the violence, which saw an estimated 1500 people die and left another 350,000 displaced. The Vice President’s sentiments were supported by Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Justice Minister Martha Karua.
