Kenyans vote in historic referendum

NAIROBI--The fate of the proposed new constitution will be known today as more than 12 million registered voters cast their ballots in Kenya's first ever referendum. The referendum has split the cabinet and the country down the middle and whichever side wins, Kenya will never be the same again. Electoral Commission chairman Samuel Kivuitu said the results would be out tomorrow.
