One billion CFA to help locust victims

The National Solidarity Ministry in Senegal will facilitate a project of collecting one CFA aimed at locust victims during the solidarity day which is to take place on March the 3rd.It is reported that the event is already receiving favorable reactions from local stakeholders. National companies are reportedly donating food to the project initiators. According to the National Solidarity Minister Farba Senghor, the initial objective is to collect a billion of CFA or beyond. Senghor has also thanked the Egyptian government with their support towards the project and urged all people to form part of the solidarity.
