Purpose
Our internship program accords participants especially from institutions of higher learning outside Africa an opportunity to actively take part in the socio-economic and cultural realities of Africans.
Participants are attached to projects and home stays relevant to their requests.
Definition
For the purpose of this agreement, a volunteer/Intern is defined as any person who of his/her own free will, provides goods and services to APP without financial or material gain.
Objectives
The objectives of APP in the engagement of volunteers are. To allow students and other volunteers to consolidate their theoretical foundation through practical experience. A major component of their experience is the formation of a professional attitude. To allow volunteers to develop their capacity to adapt to and handle challenging situations.
Commencement of Internship
A volunteer may not begin service until an agreement; Volunteer Service Agreement has been signed between her/himself and the Office. For more information contact the Coordinator.
